Say for example you have a GC and a draw schedule, you are going along and paying according to the draw schedule as things are getting complete, but then the GC starts screwing up, falling behind schedule, sloppy work, failing inspections, etc. and so you don't want to continue using them for the rest of the job ... what is the best way to fire them in a fair and honest fashion without running the risk of them liening you just because they are PO'ed?

I dont think there is one on tearing down a house , sometimes you have to do the old fashion way , call a contractor on the phone and get an estimate .
