I've been doing a lot of reading along the way and although informational I feel as no book truly illustrates the amount of money you need to have up front to purchase your first property AND/OR methods or programs you could use to help offset some of those cost.

I don't want to cause any family feuding that may lead to the use of authorities; I understand that may be necessary here.Thanks for reading!

Hello all,I've been reading a lot on BP for a while now and figured it would be cool to post and introduce myself.  

I am a W-2 employee with a 401K plan with my employer.What I am reading, if I were to attempt the SOLO-K, first I would have to show (prove) earned income of some business activity.  

You have to read your contract.  

Read up and maybe go for a finder's fee on this one.

Also, read about what wholesalers do; not that it's what you're trying to do, but they know how to market to motivated sellers so you can use the methods they use that works to find deals.
