Hello all,

I've been reading a lot on BP for a while now and figured it would be cool to post and introduce myself. I'm new to REI and am looking to invest local to my area of NWI. I'll probably be trying to attend the local NICIA meetings coming up if it works out for my schedule. Right now I'm looking to build up my knowledge, meet some people who can give sound advice, find some potential suppliers, and find some deals. Mostly interested in the buy and hold for now, but we'll see where the journey goes.

For those that invest in NWI--what do you think?  It seems to me that the market is really a sellers' market at the moment.  Homes are going quick.  I'm guessing to find a deal that generates solid returns, most people are buying off market?

Anyways, glad to be here.  Hope to connect with some great people.
