Should I disable rent payment?

Hello, I served a tenant an NTQ in August on the grounds of lease expiration and personal use (Im in CT)They were current on their rent all the time, however, they have stopped paying since they received the NTQ (2 months worth of rent) and have gotten very hostile Should I disable the rent payment system (apartments.com) or leave it open?

The tenants were in place when I purchased the place but their lease expired about 6 months after I purchased it.

The fact that you now want to use it as another dwelling unit is immaterial.If your lease with them is expired, I would get them to sign a new lease, excluding the garage, that the garage must be emptied by X date, and then start your construction.

I know they're out there and I'll bet they'll say that the process became significantly smoother if not easier after that first flip & sale.I definitely appreciate the feedback I've gotten on my other questions but they're leading me to think that I just don't have enough liquid cash available.
