All of our more recent acquisitions (none very recent) have been in the same working class (blue collar) city in San Diego county. 

It is the first year it surpassed tier 1 markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, which makes sense as these cities have been impacted significantly by the pandemic.

Buy some cornflower blue suits, put stuff in your hair, strap on a nice big fake Rolex, lease a Beamer, lie about how many deals you've done and start collecting what you're owed!

Hello BP family, I'm excited to join BP meet up in the Los Angeles market. 

Hello everybody, I purchased a rental in Los Angeles ( close to Art district ) I want to use it for Airbnb or corporate rentals.

I live, and the buildings are in, Los Angeles, CA where land value constitute a hefty portion of the fair market value, which leads me to my question...Is value of land vs. building a factor in determining depreciation in property received in a 1031 exchange?

I was wondering if anyone here has had any success investing in multi families in the southern Los Angeles County area (Bellflower, Norwalk, Long Beach, Whittier, Lakewood etc..).I'm looking to Househack a duplex and am trying to get a better idea of which areas are best for that particular strategy and maybe hoping to get some advice from experienced investors in the area.
