It's impossible when they get that big to keep up and get to the houses on turnover day, (Fri, Sat, Sun) with the traffic when everyone else is trying to get to the same place on the only road in or out.I think it's well worth the investment as I already own 3 (long-term rental) homes down here.

What are you doing to drive traffic?

I am looking into buying a duplex in a strong rental market in a great location but there is a new multifamily development that is scheduled to start construction later this year on the property right behind the duplex (line of trees behind to separate but traffic would go through street in front) .

Is GREAT to listen to on the way to work while stuck in traffic. haha.

unfortunately....no. it's a regular subdivision, but it's on a main road, so there's lots of traffic, which was a little challenging to rent it. that's why i want to keep the tenants as long as possible..i wish i could buy them out..

@Jamie Greenberg  Having moved from SD to the Springs last June, I can tell you the air is much cleaner, traffic is tollerable, and the people are friendlier.

@Russell Brazil But what about the soothing 24/7 hum of the Beltway a block away, the gorgeous view of bumper-to-bumper traffic, and the scent of gas fumes from the front porch? 

You especially need it when selling because of the increase liability exposure with additional foot traffic in the home.

They will try to make money however they can whether it be through traffic cameras or parking meters that charge 8 dollars an hour in the city.
