There are usually lectures that can help you be informed about various topics in real estate, and if you introduce yourself and ask others about their investing, you might meet the person that can help you out as well.One other thing, listen to the podcasts here on Bigger Pockets: they can give you a lot of information as well, and are super entertaining.Lastly, be sure to stay active in the forums: it's a great way to learn and to connect with others!

Hello Bigger Pockets, I am a newbie looking to get into either owning rental property or flipping. 

There are a few pockets of properties with (relatively) low taxes in Westchester county, however, they are few and far between.

im new in bigger pockets , im interested in buying a house with FhA loan only to rent the whole property . i would not be living at the property, due to im living in a house my wife purchase. is it possible for me to get the FHA loan even if i don't live at the property or is there a way?
