Additionally, I believe it shows fear about receiving your rent in a timely fashion and not so much an altruistic gesture since it is tied to dates.If this continues and your tenant not able to pay rent, when you work out a payment plan the tenant will want to know why the discounted rent is no t the ceiling- since you don't need the 10%.My units are now lived in 24/7.

All new new drywall and paint in a 4000 sq ft home, flooring, replaced all plumbing and upgraded electrical, new siding and garage doors, 4.5 updated bathrooms, kitchen remodel with quartz countertops and stainless appliances, many windows replaced, we kept as much original trim and doors as possible, upgraded the staircase with fashionable stainless steel cable system.

This is why we have it structured in this fashion - to conform with THEIR rules.If you were using different type of loan (like a portfolio loan) then none of the post would apply because there are different rules to those loans.

@Sean HollandThis would not be a recommended strategy for several reasons.The IRS could look at any such arrangement as effectively a means for you to indirectly access or benefit from your own funds.Similarly, though you are not married, if using your IRA to benefit your girlfriend and this enriches your shared household, then you are potentially benefiting yourself in that fashion as well.
