My floor guy sands and poly's my 3/1 cottages for about $600 with him providing all the materials, and it always looks great.Love solid wood floors, can't beat the combination of aesthetics and durability.

Cheap priced crap,overpriced quality properties,and then the nice property priced well in the middle that is hard to come by.We are always chasing the cheese but when you get a bite it is really good.

6-panel white looks just fine in colonials, modern colonials and post-modern designs.On the other hand, if you're doing a bungalow, cottage, arts and crafts, or something like that I'd have to say... let your wild child loose and get 1-panel doors, 2-panel, 5-panel... or anything BUT 6-panel and stain them if you have the budget for the extra labor.
