Flowers are pretty but we used hanging pots from porch so didn't have to worry about cigarette butts in pots or them getting knocked over.

This is discriminating based on family composition.Other ways of looking a this might be impressions from Facebook search, has bank account, willing to provide vehicle registration/insurance info, smokers or not, application filled out perfectly, impressions of being overly fussy, demanding, or dramatic.

The carpet was brand new. 3 years they lived there and there hundreds(not exaggerating) of cigarettes burn holes in it and muiltiple places where they cut huge squares out, I suspect they actually caught it on fire.

Turned out one of our tenants had burned their apartment down- total loss of property, was fortunate in that it was largely contained to one apartment(cigarette in the kitchen garbage can, then out to dinner, those fools.)

They have been paying on time since I bought the property and have been good tenants; however, they both have cats and dogs, are smokers (outside), and the amount they are paying is ~$200 below market for unit A and ~$100 below market for unit B.
