Another excellent bookkeeping question from a real estate investor who has just begun their journey!

Its just an accounting/bookkeeping issue. 

The 10% fee seems to be just for bookkeeping.

What systems worked best for you in terms of book keeping and automated pay collection?

(I used to work as a bookkeeper at a company, so I have been using my previous employer's travel/reimbursement policy as the template for our LLC.)So the key question is: Is it legal to be reimbursed for the home office expenses as members of an LLC? 

When any repairs or work are done, I take the invoice and classify it in my book keeping software Quick Books, so I can get an idea how much is being spent on each property and the overall performance of each property.

I mean, we just got a legit bookkeeper <6 mnths ago,... 

IF I had more than 3, I would just run everything through a business bank account and do the splits with a bookkeeping system...

Typically 60 units would warrant a full time on site manager, otherwise you can have a professional company handle it or have a live in maintenance person that would be able to handle and you have an accountant/book keeper handle the rental reporting. 

One of my partners @Bolanle Ogunmakin is also moving to Atlanta right now so maybe she could help (not from Chicago though).Additionally, our awesome bookkeeper lives in Atlanta and is doing AirBnB.
