There’s about a dozen that have RSVP’d thus far between the different channels and we can take a couple more, keeping each session to a relatively small group will be more effective for everyone.

It's rare for the assistance to actually work out in your favor.

I attended my first LLA meeting this month and I felt review of current state of affairs and a speaker or two on targeted topics was helpful. too many people for an intimate networking session but i'd like to see that too... maybe a quick around the room intro of your current state of REI affairs and what you want to get out of the meeting. but I am a newbie with a single REI and a new tenant literally moved in on that home yesterday!

As it's a seasonal destination, I wonder if short term rental (VRBO, etc.) might work out better and provide enough cash flow in season to carry through the off season.

I have also started looking at understanding how to invest using an SDIRA and how things work out.

You need to find RE that has enough upside that you can hire the work out and still make a profit that you can live on. 

I would love to keep it as a rental but I don’t think the numbers would work out.
