No matter if you liked them or got a good feeling, etc.I highly suggest your criteria contains at least this:Credit score of at least 650, regardless of medical expenses, etc.No evictionsNo criminal historyGreat landlord references - without excuses about exes or roommates, etc.It's not your job to be the person who provides a half-way house for bad applicants who need a "chance."
