I Wells Fargo’s defense, they were the only major bank that didn’t need a bailout...But otherwise, yeah, they can suck

The next time was at a conference, and I just sort of ended up in the hallway with about 4 or 5 people and one of them was the keynote speaker, and about 10 minutes he was like your Russell Brazil from BP. 

There's a myriad of issues in housing right now that understandably lenders are taking a defensive stance against.

I went to multiple conferences a year where I would always sit in the front row and make sure all my questions were asked and answered.

Also if Defense is going to get a lot of money that results in more contractors with money.

Do some networking, go to conferences, and meet the people that are in the position you'd like to one day be in.All of these deals, at their core, are real estate development projects that simply use historic tax credits as a means of financing to make it viable or juice the returns.
