The nature of the business is that there will be some sketchy reviews because it is hard to please everyone...tenants often complain unfairly on social media and owners also get mad when the PM follows the law and not the owner's wishes...but...also, bear in mind that reviews do matter...ask your PM to provide you with 2 or 3 current owners and CALL them. 

The problem tenants are retired folks and are on social security.

This has proliferated with social media  Linkden  connected investors  Facebook  BP  etc etc  the scammers never had it easier.. 

I've read through them -I wanted to start this in case anything is new since the last thread/others that hasn't saw those perhaps wanted to comment here - as well as my Canadian specific question.

If there are some recommendations, please include a website that is compatible with Canadian users.

Does anyone invest in Canada and know of any good Canadian resources to find this same info, or have any helpful tips for how investing differs from the US to Canada?

For the longest time while being active duty military I kept my identity as a real estate investor somewhat a secret and didn't feel like it was appropriate to talk about in the military work environment, or post things on my social media channels, but over the last few years my mindset has changed and I have opened up and have started to uncover that secret identity and I have found that it has opened up so many doors and has also helped so many others open doors.
