Screening tenants during covid

I just bought my first duplex (in St. Catherines, Ontario) and just completed renos. I was in contact with a property management company to take over from here so I can focus on my job and get back to analyzing more deals to invest in another in the upcoming year. Long story short, the company got a covid case and although they are still interested in helping out, I haven’t been getting answers back as fast as I’d like. Now I’m doing my own due diligence as far as screening and getting tenants in place but would like some help in the process from those who know best.

Is there an episode on screening tenants during covid? Or, could anyone give me some insight on how I should go about my next move here?

Thanks in advance!!
