Trying to begin, and take the first steps!!

I have the long version using the steps below but I will save you the reading.

I just finished reading "Why we want you to be rich" and "6 Steps to Succesful Real Estate Investing"..and I am now working on a book about Landlording..Just wanted to say Hi.My New Years resolution is to start my own business and buy a property.:) :goofy:

Two questions, one, can you tell me your process on wholesaling and two, can you recommend a course to help me learn these basic steps?

I was wanting to get some information on mold in my apt .Landlord has done nothing section 8 says they don't deal with it the city told me that it is so common they don't bother with it .I believe it is my right to have section 8 to provide me with a safe living environment I have a 11 yr old daughter and a 10 yr old son who also comes in the apt so what steps would u recommend me to take .?
