From what I understand their business model is getting paid by the banks and the banks so far are offering it free of charge to attract clients and stay competitive.

Even though a Realtor may be great at buying and selling, they probably don't have the expertise to deal with the excessive laws & ordinances as well as the million and one situations you can find yourself in while managing a property/dealing with a tenant.
