I am a 28 yr old Landscape Designer and just recently bought my own investment home.

Prop man/water/landscaping= 450 mo. 

Professionally pained, cleaned, and rear landscaping done.

One by one, the landlord demographic is changing.

Visiting the house and driving around to see if there are vendors outside working is a good method, since landscapers and handymen tend to work in a specific area.

Understanding the landscape is key, and if you have someone local that can help show you around, that'd be helpful (but not required).I'd also plan on making multiple visits.

The HOA takes care of all of the exterior maintenance including landscaping and snow removal.

These units are in a community with an HOA which maintains the exteriors, landscaping, and snow removal.
