When I saw the title I was worried it was the notorious "locksmith scam" that targets people locked out of their homes or cars, and it might actually be the same people. if it was a guy who showed up in a private car and seemed pushy yet a bit clueless, it might not have been a legit locksmith.

Like I said before, just beware of all of the internet scams where people can buy notes for upwards of 75 dollars just to pass them off.Hope the info helps!
