Meetups are announced and posted here on BP in the meetups sub-forum, and on our dedicated Facebook meetup page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/MetroDetroitRealEs...I also send out an email notification once the date and place is set since people don't always see the meetup announcement on FB and BP.

Keep good notes of who you talked to (insurance and attorney) and what was said...dates, times, conversation....these can become very valuable down the line.

However, if the housing court record is pulled by name, date of birth, and/or social security number, then I would have more faith in it and ask the tenant to get that letter.
