If your hinting at lying about owner occupying as a way to get a better interest rate or lower down payment, that is mortgage fraud.

If I close the prop as a primary home and turn around and rent it out….I understand there can be “owner occupied” restrictions from the lender.

Hello,I am considering selling my owner-occupied multifamily home as I need to move OOS due to a job change but I am not too sure when I will sell and odds are I may not sell.

However as Colin mentioned, there are tough restrictions here especially needing the property to be at least partially owner-occupied in order to rent for less than 30 days legally.

The 4 plex and mobile home are currently tenant occupied.

My specialty is in investment property financing, from fix and flip up to large balance commercial financing but I also have experience in conventional owner-occupied residential deals as well.
