It ends up costing more money in loan extension fees, lost time while searching for additional capital (in the case where the investor overextends his/herself), and just plain avoidable stress.  

Without it, you are asking for trouble, headaches, and a lot of unnecessary stress.

27) How well do you handle stress and rejection?

Also, spending countless hours driving for dollars for something that isn't exactly guaranteed can be stressful.  

Either way, I'm originally from NY where 45 minute stressful commutes are the norm :) That's one of the reasons I'm expanding my search outside of the Austin area; car travel doesn't bother me.Good luck, @Timothy Paul russell!

I personally enjoy the freedom aspect of it, at times its stressful, but there is a great freedom attached to the lifestyle as well. 

I understand it's stressful to be chasing rent and knowing the drama is going on back stage.

Not afraid of hard work or a little stress to build a business before I'm 30.
