I began attending the DFW REI Club meetings in Fort Worth to network and learn more about exactly what we were getting ourselves into.  

I also suggest you set up some keywords to receive notifications when topics of interest are being discussed.You should also start attending REIAs.

I've been to Pittsburgh a few time, to attend Steelers games, and I've noticed homes vary greatly even within the same block.

We are working with a couple of licensed and local real estate agents, so we'll run this by they as well.Thank you also for the other info this site provides and we will be looking to attend a couple of Real Estate Investing Club meetings.Bryon

There are a few experienced folks who attend, to include: @Scott Schuetz who is a Realtor, working the beach-side area and has been doing rehabs. 

There are some many good REI groups to attend.
