I like the way it looks, but it requires a minimum moisture content in the air, which I don't have out here in the desert, so I've never installed it.I can't think of any reason a buyer would object to it, other than the obvious one that they have their heart set on red cherry floors (which is a problem with any and every flooring you use)I don't think bambeoo is any cheaper than other wood flooring, so you chose it because you like the way it looks.

The 28th of December is my scheduled close on that one, but I am still in the feasibility period so they still can back out for another couple days.I have another rehabbed 11 unit that brings in about $5500, utilities right now run about $1,000 a month for gas and water, but that should drop in the spring to about $300 a month when I install some new electirc heating and air units (tenant pays electric :D ) .

My biggest worry would be liability protection - ie if you install say a hot water tank and it floods a persons house is there protection from someone going after your personal assets to collect damages?

These solutions would have to pay off within 2-years (the typical holding period of the buildings in the portfolio) so something like installing solar panels wouldn't fit the bill.
