Scott Bartlett Transferring properties to LLC

We currently have three properties that we plan on transferring to our LLC.The problem is, we just filed for our LLC here in Ohio with an effective date of 1-1-2015.Does that mean I have to wait till the 1st to transfer our properties to the LLC, or can we transfer the properties as soon as the LLC is processed?

Balloon payments need to be after significant equity has been established, that 25% may apply, the improvements will effect this as well, but future ability to finance is the question to ask.I realize some of this may not be appropriate for public consumption, feel free to contact me with confidential matters and I'll be happy to give you financing solutions and options. :)

The only way to title it in your name would be if the vehicles are specifically listed on the transfer docs, including the VIN.

@Jose Falconett  I write something to the effect of "Buyer agrees to pay all back taxes and other debts attached to the property as well as all costs to to transfer the property into the Buyers name, Contingent upon Buyer researching and accepting those costs as reasonable."

Typically when you move on to buy your next home with VA, they make you refi the old one in order to transfer your entitlement to the house you're buying, but since you're both eligible, there may be some room for creativity there.Thank you and your missus very much for your service.

If you are compliant with you minutes, filings, and no funds are transferred back and forth or commingle, you have a barrier of protection in the eyes of the court.
