The family has setup a Gofundme campaign that never really gained any traction.  

I am working to acquire my first STR and I am wondering if anyone has done any marketing campaigns to find STR’s such as direct mail, postcards, etc.

After reading so much on BP about Yellow Letters, I did a two month campaign and received a 4% response rate the first month, 0% the second month.

I was wondering what did you end up doing with your mail campaign?

Hwy Brian, one campaign I have found that worka very well with essentially the exact information that Troy suggested (which was great info btw), but with a small tweek.

I'm actually going to be gearing up for some direct mail campaign for Fayetteville & Hope Mills (maybe Spring Lake) to find off-market deals.

So if you have an alternate method of getting homes ( mailing campaigns or something else) you could have some luck but if your going to try MLS you better be ready by making your first offer very strong.

I then started a mailing campaign which failed miserably but I learned from it.
