Get some business cards and start attending REIAs.

I do advise that you to be cautious, and due your own diligence when attending some of these events, as most promote their memberships and/or offerings.

I have joined a few local networking clubs and attended an event (very informative).

I am attending reluctantly

I started attending meetup groups and cashflow 101 games, and met a successful agent/investor.  

I can't wait to make 2016 my year of success with many more to come.Some of the things I've accomplished so far since December 18th:-Attended my first REIA meeting-Set up my website -Set up my business email-Set up my business phone through google voice-Set up my business ups box address -Met with a local Attorney to get a quote on reviewing my P&S agreements and Assignment of Contract.

The question is: Should I focus more on school (both mentally and financially) and hope to gain an internship down the road or should I "bite the apple" and hope for the best while attending to both RE and my degree?

We live in the Inland Empire of California and have been interested in rehabbing houses for some time but didnt really know where to begin until a recent real estate workshop attended.  

I believe the next meeting is Tuesday, January 26.I try to attend both of these meetings.I'm a Realtor and investor in Collin County and northern Dallas County.

We attend weddings if invited.When a tenant has a baby, we send a gift.
