Let's say I am able to resell in 1-2 years and resale is $10-20k more than what I bought the house for, am I ahead financially despite the closing costs on the buy and sell?

I believe one of my biggest concerns is investing while not living locally (although I do visit quite often) back home.  

Knowing this- I made sure to have my realtor @Michael Noto reach out ahead of time to the sellers realtor.  

Looking ahead, I can see that we are both going to need some alternate forms income in order to successfully pay back our student loans, achieve financial freedom and live the lifestyle we want to live.

I got a bit too far ahead of myself and cut off the option of conventional financing before I knew it.In any case, if you want to keep growing the portfolio, there are options beyond conventional financing.
