New member from the Hampton Roads area (Chesapeake/VA Beach)

Hello BP,

My name is Darryl Pitchford. I have been lurking through the site for the last couple of years and have found so much useful information. I own two SFH rentals (townhouses) in Virginia (Hampton Roads area). My former primary residence prior to working overseas (unplanned rental that is underwater) and my first actual investment property purchased in December 2015. I have been wanting to acquire additional properties for quite some time but I find it just a tad bit more difficult searching from overseas. I am primarily interested in SF homes to buy and hold at the moment. I am always on the lookout in the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach area. I also have relatives in the Greensboro,NC and Philadelphia region (born and raised) and have been seriously considering trying to jump into the market there as well. Any current BPers in these areas who are willing to discuss the rental market prospects would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to learning a lot more from this site!
