It amazes me how many meaningful relationships my wife and I have built through this investing community, and it’s led to tremendous growth for my wife’s real estate business, and also growth in our portfolio and property management company with all the wise advice and lessons learned that have been shared with us.

But not many people talk about leveraging relationships & knowledge 👍🏼

If you have an agent you have a good relationship with, you could also ask them if they have a purchase and sale agreement they are willing to provide you. 

Long term, relying on brokers and relationships may be the most reliable way to get deals but when you’re starting out nobody is going to bring you the best deals since you don’t have a track record of closing commercial deals (which is much harder than residential IMO).

Meeting people in person and networking is a great way to build relationships with other investors.

So, 1 and 2 have no relationship between each other except being owned by the same company. 

Make sure to not solicit any investors, but focus on building a valuable relationship. 

A great mortgage broker will have good relationships with good lenders and will help you put your best foot forward to get the loan.

Most of what these big box companies tell you are half truths. 4) Focus on relationships over sales production and you'll actually build a career and not buy yourself a 9-5 expense monster. 5) Keep your overhead low.

Does placing the LLCs in a holding company establish a "parent company" relationship that would make it easier for legal action of a suing party?
