Beginner Investor starting to fix&flip
Hey everyone, I’m glad to be apart of this community. So I’ve been doing some research on analyzing the real estate market and decided to start flipping. Y’all got any recommendations on how I can raise private money? I’m in Houston and looking to network with other investors. Ive been dealing with a lot of depression for over 2 years now because of the lack of money. I I’m trying to change my situation in life. Thanks for hearing me out

It sounds like you are looking for private lenders, not passive investors. I would suggest starting to network locally. You will be able to find private lenders and possibly partners to do deals together with. If a lender is familiar with an area; they are more likley to feel comfortable lending to a new investor since it probably would not be that difficult to finish the project themselves and sell.
