I am not sure if that is an excellent sign or an indication of an exceptionally well-run PR group (most even semi-negative mentions, including ones on BP are usually retracted, sometimes mentioning they were contacted and educated about changes or new info, etc.I do not have a dog in this fight, and I am interested in actual real, unaffiliated, unsponsored, unfiltered information.

It might be as simple as an application, or could be an appeal and then fight with the zoning board, depending on the town and where your property is located in there.Or you could call up the building department and ask them, if you'd rather do that.

If your attorney says it's better to accept the deal, then accept the deal and be done with it.If this happened in my state, I'd have no qualms about fighting it because judges actually read the law and determine guilt or innocence based on facts.

A small, independent brokerage may provide better support from the Broker since you're not fighting 100 other agents but the training may not be of the same caliber.If I were starting out again with the knowledge I have today, I would look for a small office with no more than ten agents and an honest, supportive Broker.
