I am trying to be more active in my local real estate but i’m not sure who to talk to

I will be retiring from my job soon (gotta love government employment) and will be taking a more active role in my properties than before and want to better organize what I have.

Since you are going to have multiple properties however, you really should seek the counsel of an entity protection attorney that specializes in this. 

I see a lot of activity in North Jersey, what's going on in South Jersey? 

@Robert Ellis Mpls has a shortage of housing, the city is actively trying to add housing in the  area. 

This sounds like a recipe for disaster...and I think I am justified in that assessment since one of the places you have considered investing is with a company that are complete scam artists.All investing is a risk based activity, but people need to learn and understand better risk assessments and mitigation.

If you don't have one already, seek out a mentor that is a seasoned investor.
