There's all kinds of e-signing services these days like Docusign and it seems the same in principle, but just curious as there seems to be so much minutiae with respect to real estate laws.

Bryan,I generally talk with customers when buying a rental to make sure that the loan was submitted using the current rent roll and adding back everything on the schedule E.

However, if the subject looks like 5 individual units (ie. 5 doors: Unit A,B,C,D,E), the appraiser will make note on the inspection.
