Since I knew I was moving to Pittsburgh eventually, I decided to buy my first duplex and get my feet wet out here where the barrier to entry was quite a bit more affordable.

As far as maintenance, wet basements can sometimes be an issue, but many can be fixed easily enough by doing things like regrading the yard.

You just need to get your feet wet and learn as you go and then you will just "know"As far as that PM goes, you are 100% right!

I guess this was a good idea for a beginner such as myself to get my feet wet.
