What is the process of getting a permit should my tenants and or guests ask for one?

I'm getting the application process started with our city to obtain a license to do short-term rentals.With this being - said we're thinking that it might be time to get an accountant to support us during tax season as we enter this new venture. 

The process of building a real estate portfolio can be exciting.

Joe is correct in terms of the "legal" aspect, be sure to document the process as you go should you have to evict.

Our firm has done many deals in the past with our own capital however we are now looking at taking down multifamily deals with limited partners for the first time, especially as our portfolio is pretty illiquid at the moment.I myself as executive officer am doing everything I possibly can to make sure I learn about every nuance of the syndication process to make sure things go smoothly before even thinking about submitting any LOIs.

If you can make a ton of money without cracking into walls, going through the construction process, dealing with all of those headaches that come with a flip.

I currently work a time intensive job in the commercial RE sector, so I am looking to build a dynamic team of a broker, PM, lender, contractor, etc to help with the overall processes. 

However, I think the prices in California will cause us to invest out of state and we will just have to learn how to set up the right systems and processes to deal with issues as they come up.
