Our culture seems to have degenerated in to an "Order-taker" mentality with very little pride in a job well done.

However I do understand that with commercial comes the increased possibility that your building will sit empty for a long period of time and you have to be able to handle that mentally and financially.

I think the "I want to be a home owner" mentality is set in their minds.

agree with Account Closed ; the numbers will also help you set a limit of your renovation budget and prioritize the renovation items. 

The old school mentality that you need to save and then buy is exactly that...old school. 

I'm very intrigued and very interested in the step-by-step go do this go do that tasking type of mentality.

Finding how many lots can be divided into 10 acres if there's a road in the middle of it measuring X square feet..... all while mentally deciphering between 6 square miles and 6 miles square and other Trickery questions.

Before I make my first deal I'm reading all the books I can including yours and @Brandon Turner's book along with Many others and listening to the BP podcast and saving money as fast as it's coming in so that hopefully when that first deal presents itself I'm financially and mentally ready!
