OH and by the way, the police told me Sec. 8 was telling people to Spray Paint the units with a Flourescent pink or yellow circle with a dot or something unique, then notify the scrap yards and police of your mark in case they get stolen and to tell the scrap yards not to take any condensors with flourescent paint and to identify the people bringing them in.

(Today's tenants need LOTS of grounded outlets, and many expect air conditioning or at least nice ceiling fans) Update your cabinets (or faces) and fixtures, the tub and surround (at a minimum reglaze), some paint and floorcovering, and now YOU can expect 20+ years of pretty trouble free service.

I make a very good living here and am not trying to become a real estate investor to get out of debt but am rather coming here with a fairly important amount of cash in the bank that I would like to invest in real estate.I would like to participate in your forum and start building a network because laws and possibilities in the US are very different from what I used to deal with in France and I would like to avoid the most common mistakes right from the start.If I can help with my knowledge of real estate in France or Cuisine tips, it will be my pleasure.

And any help or what to watch out for.I am not going into this as a major money maker but I just wonder how likely a condo or other vacation property will keep up or ahead of inflation or be about the same as I would make on conservative investing the same amount.I am just starting to think about this so if you can point out any good things to read or just tips in general it will be greatly appreciated.

Don't know what area you live in, or what kind of skills you have, but in most areas Delivery of some sort would be the hours you are looking for, and tips may be good... agian, if you are in Alaska, it may not be a good choice, but it would be in most areas???

Check the BBB and local civil lawsuit data.I run whats been said many times is a reliable service.I do not ask for downpayments, I dont need the money I can afford the paints out of pocket, I answer warranty calls by visit the same day I am called, and fo the repair within a day or two.
