I was wondering if anyone knew of any meet ups or groups that get together in the dtla area here in California or somewhere nearby?

Specifically Middletown, NJ and nearby surrounding areas.

While doing due diligence on a property in Kannapolis, NC, I discovered that the city has recently started a project to revitalize the downtown area. It will include a minor league baseball stadium, commercial areas, ...

So I did a business turn and bought another house nearby with the same financing deal as the first house within walking distance of my school for about 75% of it's value but needed a LOT of work (new roof, fence, kitchen, 3 bathrooms, new flooring and some electrical work).

I would recommend starting with a duplex and adding another ideally near by so you can manage both at the same time.

Though, I would like to first start with something nearby (CT, NJ, Penn, etc.) 

I live near by in Cypress and am in the process on developing an assisted living in Redlands.

Online I can't find any past rent postings for nearby homes on Craigslist, Hot Pads and others.  2 units are vacant, We could move in to one if we wished."
