My score is currently around 650 with limited lines of credit (student loan and 1 credit card) I haven’t noticed a change in score for about 2 months now and I make all my payments on time and carry a Low balance on my credit card...Are there any tips on how to boost my score ?

I'm fairly new to the field still of real estate investing, so any assistance and insight would help.Cheers,Anthony

@Tyrus Lacey Jr I would recommend finding someone local who is doing what you are interested in doing and see if you can assist them with their business while you learn the business from them.

Someone like Dean might be able to assist you with an off-market deal but that will be about your only option as anything remotely close to this that gets listed on the MLS will be overrun with offers. 

If you can get a 4 unit and a basement, that would be ideal and create major cash flow and equity creation, plus you can not worry about a property manager and boost your yield.Personally, I am very bullish on New York and NYC itself.

I think an unintended consequence of this plan is tenant has all but 160 of their deposit back and they don't pay last month rent, or don't pay a utility, or do damage on the move-out etc....you now don't have anything to assist in making you whole.
