However, here are some random thoughts:If 60% of rental income provides sufficient retirement income, you can probably afford to do nothing :-) This has the added benefit of continued capital appreciation, relatively easy single family home management and tax free stepped up basis on first death.

We can't afford the city.

We have already had 4 separate groups of guests and are booked for the rest of November, a large portion of December, and we are currently entertaining a request for a three-month stay Jan-Mar.

Hi Guys,I was looking at the affordability in canada and new tech jobs emerging but after more analysis and looking at the numbers i agree it is not a viable investment.

Properties are still affordable with cashflow and appreciation opportunities.

Tech will always have a "Next Gen" product which is currently focused on Consumerism (TV's, phones, PC's, entertainment). 

I can afford a sizable down payment on a home and have a great credit score.The reviews online are mostly negative with a few positive mixed in.
