As I've gone on my day-to-day work of wiring homes,the question of why aren't people wiring for internet the same way they install electrical outlets?

The roofing company that installed the tarp is already threatening to put a lien on my property if I do not pay the full amount though - is there anything else I should consider doing to fight this charge/potential lien?

The trimming is lousy, wall boards bounce, large gaps...detail is horrible.In NYC i could get a total gut job and have installed: Proper sheetrock & durock wall backing, a new shower body with single lever handle & spout, porcelain floor tiles throughout, porcelain wall tiles surrounding the tub to ceiling height, tub, sink, new vanity, baseboard, prime and paint and 2 light fixtures for 10-13K.

Since you are not doing it for yourself, I would just stick with the carpet the installers are recommending.
