I gave her 60 days notice, and now four days before the end of those 60 days she (via her case manager at the housing authority) is asking for 'just one more day'.

I actually really like students - they share expenses, so the home is more affordable/I can charge higher rent, they are not jaded by life yet, and they are somewhat respectful of my authority.  

We are waiting to hear back from the bank as to whether they'll authorize the short sale but are confident it will be because the price was preapproved by the bank holding the note.It's a bit of a fixer upper and we are going in on the property with a  Homestyle renovation loan.

Was reading somewhere around here the other day an article about fixed costs when flipping, and the author's FC were near $17k on each deal.

News and scandal in both directions from the same publication and even author is far more prevalent than is noticed till you start examining the copy regularly.

I guess these two authors were most influential to me at age 20 having just served three years in the US Army and trying to discover what I wanted to do in life.I haven't stop reading or learning since.
