They're getting caught up in all this REI web/internet hype.

I worked with the Zillow API a little bit and having results populate in Excel; but then I was interested in Craiglist results to find the "For Sale by Owner" listings (web scraping; there can be some issues with that if done wrong though so was hoping for an open API there).  

They have a web site so you can get some information about the company and contacts.

Still adds up though.absolutely Kyle its gone from bigger sophisticated shops ( I have heard of clones of these companies in the US) to small time fish who are scamming people 500.00 at a time and as much as they can get out of them.. not a day or week goes by on BP.they run adds for under market interest  advertise no money down..

I do not personally know of a property manager or company in KC, but if all else fails you could look up companies located there on the IREM web site directory.

I believe this was covered in one of the BP podcasts, and you can also find a lot on the web by searching "point system for screening tenants".No matter what system you use, I do think there is value in recording your criteria somewhere, even if it's only in a small text file on your computer.
