Most of the stories I hear usually reveal in the meat of it that they had someone along the way that helped, provided funds, had a friend, etc. but we don't have anyone.

Lots of bad actors.. its what that statue was created for and in addition its garden variety wire fraud.. 

The current market is revealing some great deals and I have a feeling there will be even more coming in the near future. 

I think it is good to listen or read a variety of views because it's good to here stuff that you do not agree with.

For me, it helps to have a goal and a strategy but sometimes experience reveals you prefer one over the other (pros and cons to both- I particularly like that the vacancy rate is much lower in my SFHs).
