Dear fellow members, I am confronted with a weird accusation that I haven’t seen in 15 years of managing student rentals.

I really do try not to be resentful of all the special favors certain professions get or just resentful, period. 

I'm just over the hill in Reno, NV (moved from Marin County) and a lot of parents in the area do the same thing w/ student rentals near UNR.

Here’s what Zillow shows:Credit score is about 640one time payments: 81%total debt $15k open accounts are all student loans which has a note that says dispute resolved - consumer disagrees. 

Mobile Homes treated me and my students really well!  

However, I also have significant student loan debt.

But no more than 1 purchase a year, so it could be a SFH I buy to do STR or Student Housing or a multi-family in a cheaper market.

I'll skip over that and give a very brief list of some other items I tell my students in the Airbnb class I teach here in Denver.

Couple things in your way: buying house from Dad isn't arm's length transaction; $23000 annual income = $1916 a month how much credit cars/student loans/vehicles/ and primary residence payments/ is there depreciation added back to that number?
