A few neighborhoods that are walkable to the MARC train that goes to Union Station/metro in DC are:Mount Vernon and Station North (Penn Station)Ridley's Delight, Sharp Leadenhall, Otterbein (Camden Station)This isn't an exhaustive list, but I've seen some multi family homes over the past 12 months in the bolded neighborhoods.

@Cecilia Cave in some states it is not allowed and it really isn't your money until the occupancy occurs so if they leave early you would have to refund it, so no advantage to you.

I personally think the owner will cave in once they get their offer, but also I’m nervous that this thing is upside down.
