So I'm grateful for this, that I'm alive and functional, instead of the more probable alternatives, all of which are, as @Steve Vaughan put it, statistics.In dealing with my tenants, one of the things that constantly gets rammed home to me is the contrast between their early family life growing up and mine, and what a very ugly childhood has done to them.
