With your knowledge you should be able to sieve through and find the best preparer.The best preparer at my local H&R Block is unlikely to have even 1% of the real estate experience as my CPA.Clearly you have a vested interested in H&R Block...there's likely nothing I can say that will get you to admit how bad a choice it would be to use them over a qualified CPA, enrolled agent or accountant.

I'm currently pursuing a bachelor's in Computer Information Systems at CalState LA, which leads me to my question.Just yesterday I discovered that I my school offers a minor in Real Estate, which requires a total of five classes, one of which I've already taken as part of my actual major, and another which I enrolled for next semester earlier this week because I figured I might as well get some formal education on real estate (I enrolled in the second class before learning about the minor program).

He said they have some kind of program for tenants wherein, if they're enrolled, the outgoing tenant covers that cost, but the landlord needs to cover it if the outgoing tenant is not enrolled.He claimed less than 1% vacancy rate.What are your thoughts on all this?
